WHAT IS MAGNESIUM OXIDE
It is a naturally occurring white, grey, brown or yellow mineral, the source of magnesium. Formula MgCO3 (magnesium oxide). There are mineral samples that look like phosphorus. Also, very rarely, you can come across mineral samples in the shape of a translucent crystal interspersed with other rocks. It consists of carbon dioxide CO2 by 51%. During the thermal treatment carbon dioxide evaporates, forming magnesium oxide MgO. After blending with sulphate substances or substances that contain chloride, thermally treated magnesium oxide can form thick and firm surfaces. This property is successfully exploited in industry and construction.
